Today marks the first day of the reintroduction phase! Today and tomorrow I’ll be eating two servings of eggs, followed by two days without them. If I don’t have any bad reaction to them then I can keep them in my diet and move on to something else.
Breakfast
Brown rice, spinach, broccoli and chives with a boiled egg on top. I enjoy putting eggs on things. Nearly 300 calories.
Lunch
Leftover turkey burger and salad, about 250 calories.
Dinner
Leftover turkey burger, brown rice, Brussels sprouts and carrot, nearly 400 calories.
Snack
Another boiled egg and some cashews. I was just going to have the egg but then I saw how low my calories were looking for the day and decided to add the nuts too. I’d just done a strength workout so I probably needed the protein anyway. This added up to 240 calories.
Macros
According to the Fitbit app, my split today was 28% carbs, 48% fat and 24% protein and I ate about 1150 calories. Way too low for a workout day but I’m not hungry. Unfortunately I think my slightly higher calorie days recently were more from the olive oil that I just began decreasing rather than actual food.
Final Thoughts
I feel pretty good, but I will try to eat more tomorrow. It was awesome to finally have eggs again after not being able to eat them for three weeks.
