GERD Elimination Diet – Day 23

Breakfast

Brown rice, spinach, broccoli, chives and a boiled egg with mango on the side. About 370 calories.

Lunch

Leftover turkey burger and vegetables, about 270 calories.

Dinner

Baked chicken breast, vegetables and brown rice with parsley, about 380 calories.

Snack

A boiled egg and an apple, about 160 calories.

Macros

According to the Fitbit app, my split today was 40% carbs, 34% fat and 26% protein and I ate nearly 1200 calories.

Final Thoughts

I can’t eat eggs for the next two days so I’m sad about that. At least I don’t seem to be having any kind of negative reaction from them. I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t eat eggs anymore!

I’m realizing that I need to include a lot more than just eggs before I’m not bored of my meals anymore, unfortunately. Potatoes will help so that I have another carb (I’m not big on the quinoa and the rice noodles are sad without soy sauce) but what I really need are things that give flavor, such as citrus, garlic, onion, butter, and spices. Although not all spices are actually spicy, a lot of the good ones go best with something acidic or spicy so I haven’t really been using them.

Oh well. I’ve got this far so I will continue, knowing that eventually (barring any reactions) I will be able to eat more interesting food again.
