Breakfast
Leftover chicken soba stir fry from last night with an egg on top, nearly 500 calories. The egg probably wasn’t strictly necessary but this meal was just asking for one.
Lunch
Lamb meatballs, baby spinach, cilantro, tahini and sour cream on a flour tortilla, about 270 calories.
I only had half the usual serving of meatballs because I wasn’t super hungry and because of what was coming for my snack later. I put the rest in the freezer because I’m not sure I’ll eat them all within the next few days.
Dinner
I probably broke the rules slightly. We got Domino’s; my husband had pizza and I had what I thought was the safest thing on their menu: the boneless chicken pieces with no sauce. I knew they were decent because we’ve had them before. There’s probably some mild spice and/or garlic and onion powder in the batter. We’ll see how I go.
I also made some zucchini tots to go with them, omitting the garlic powder, onion powder and cajun seasoning. They tasted pretty good considering they were mostly vegetables. I was going to take a picture but I was kind of in a rush because Domino’s were quicker than expected so my food was still cooking when it came and we wanted to start a movie.
All in all, for dinner I ate about 550 calories.
Snack
I made another loaf of sourdough today, this one with all white flour. I ate some with butter and strawberry jam, which came to about 300 calories.
I think I’ll try some more interesting scoring on my sourdough next time. I’m not particularly artistic, but even if it ends up looking bad at least it will still taste good!
Macros
According to the Fitbit app, my split today was 41% carbs, 33% fat and 26% protein and I ate about 1600 calories.
