GERD Elimination Diet – Day 82

Breakfast

Leftover fried rice, about 480 calories.

Lunch

Leftover potatoes with lemon dill tahini dressing with ham and strawberries, about 430 calories.

Dinner

I really love stir fries with peanut butter in them, though my husband thinks they’re weird. Tonight I used this recipe , adding in shrimp, carrot and broccoli. It turned out great, though I had to add some honey. I think the recipe was probably developed with sweet peanut butter like Jiff or Skippy rather than the natural peanut butter I use. I wish people would tell you what kind of peanut butter they mean in recipes! In sweet dishes I generally assume the sweet kind, but it is harder to tell in savory dishes like this. I’ll probably make a few other tweaks before I’m completely happy with this recipe but it’s a good starting point.

A plate of this was about 530 calories.

Snack

Celery and peanut butter, then later some cashews when I got hungry. This was about 190 calories altogether.

Macros

According to the Fitbit app, my split today was 45% carbs, 35% fat and 20% protein and I ate about 1630 calories.
