GERD Elimination Diet – Day 95

Breakfast

Leftover Italian sausage, scrambled eggs with pesto, broccoli and a breadstick, about 700 calories.

Lunch

Leftover pizza, about 400 calories.

Dinner

I made a Thai salad called nam sod for dinner tonight. I added some cucumber, but otherwise made the recipe exactly as specified, served with rice. It was delicious! I think I’ll up the chili garlic sauce and fish sauce next time. I was a bit worried the flavors would be too strong so I held off, but I think a little more would be better. This came to nearly 500 calories.

Snack

Strawberries, about 60 calories.

Macros

According to the Fitbit app, my split today was 34% carbs, 45% fat and 21% protein and I ate around 1650 calories.

I forgotten to mention yesterday, but in case you couldn’t tell, today and yesterday were for reintroducing raw tomato, onion and bell peppers. I would not advise anyone with more severe GERD symptoms to combine these at this point, but I feel it’s safe for me since I’ve not been having any problems.
