GERD Elimination Diet – Day 5

Breakfast

The same as yesterday. Oats, cinnamon, vanilla, oat milk, cashew butter, mango. Nearly 400 calories.

Lunch

Again, same as yesterday except the vegetables were a bit different. Tuna, brown rice, vegetables. I did add extra olive oil because I think I actually need more fat. This was about 350 calories.

Dinner

I made turkey meatballs again because I thought they were pretty good. Served with brown rice and vegetables. About 450 calories.

Snack

Just an apple in the afternoon, about 80 calories.

Macros

According to the Fitbit app my split today was 48% carbs, 35% fat and 17% protein. More protein needed! Maybe I should have split that can of tuna in two rather than three. I ate nearly 1300 calories which isn’t terrible considering how I’ve been this week but still just too low. But I’m really not even hungry.

I wasn’t super tired this afternoon, maybe due to more fat and less carbs at lunch, but who knows really. I’m still feeling too full but walking around a bit after each meal seems to help a little.

Tomorrow morning it’s grocery shopping time. I just remembered I’m allowed to eat lamb and wild game so I might see if I can get something like that. I happen to really love lamb but it’s always so expensive and here in the US the cuts are all weird.

Anyway, hopefully I can find something a little more interesting to eat for the next two weeks!
